Brilliant Books Coming Soon.

There a lot of amazing books being released in the run up to Christmas so I thought I'd share the ones I am most excited about with you.
*****
First up is The Dream Thieves. This is book 2 in Maggie Stiefvaters The Raven Cycle series. I LOVED the first book and am super excited about this one. It officially comes out tomorrow (17th of September) but my local Waterstones already had it out. So I bought it. TODAY. (I'm such a reb!)

Here is what Waterstones have to say:

Now that the ley lines around Cabeswater have been woken, nothing for Blue and Gansey will be the same. Ronan is falling more and more deeply into his dreams ...and his dreams are intruding more and more into waking life. Gansey is needed at home, and is struggling to stay in Aglionby. And Adam? He's made some new friends. Friends that are looking for some of the same pieces of the puzzle that Gansey, Blue, and Ronan are after. Great power is at stake, and someone must be willing to wield it.

The Dream Thieves can be bought HERE.

The next book I am uber excited for is Unbreakable by Kami Garcia. I am a huge Beautiful Creatures fan, which KG c-authored with Margaret Stohl. I follow KG on Facebook, Pinterest and Twitter (I swear I am not a stalker) and there have been lots of juicy teasers for this book (Well played Publicity team, well played)!!

Goodreads:

I never believed in ghosts. Until one tried to kill me.

When Kennedy Waters finds her mother dead, her world begins to unravel. She doesn’t know that paranormal forces in a much darker world are the ones pulling the strings. Not until identical twins Jared and Lukas Lockhart break into Kennedy’s room and destroy a dangerous spirit sent to kill her. The brothers reveal that her mother was part of an ancient secret society responsible for protecting the world from a vengeful demon — a society whose five members were all murdered on the same night.

Now Kennedy has to take her mother’s place in the Legion if she wants to uncover the truth and stay alive. Along with new Legion members Priest and Alara, the teens race to find the only weapon that might be able to destroy the demon — battling the deadly spirits he controls every step of the way.

Sounds awesome right? Unbreakable hits the shelves on October 1st. Pre-Order HERE

Third on my list is The Fiery Heart by Richelle Mead. This is book 4 in her Bloodlines series (Which is a spin off of her Vampire Academy series (which is being made into a move)). I am really excited for this book. If I tell you why though, I would have to kill you. That is a lie. I would spoil it for you though and I am not about that! I love this series for the story but I also love it for its GORGEOUS art work. It is basically book porn!

It is sick and sexy fine. Yes, I just quoted K$sha. Does anyone else now say K$sha "Keh-dollar sign-SHA"? Thank you Principal Figgins!

Enough of me distracting myself. This is what Goodreads says:

In The Indigo Spell, Sydney was torn between the Alchemist way of life and what her heart and gut were telling her to do. And in one breathtaking moment that Richelle Mead fans will never forget, she made a decision that shocked even her. . . .

But the struggle isn't over for Sydney. As she navigates the aftermath of her life-changing decision, she still finds herself pulled in too many directions at once. Her sister Zoe has arrived, and while Sydney longs to grow closer to her, there's still so much she must keep secret. Working with Marcus has changed the way she views the Alchemists, and Sydney must tread a careful path as she harnesses her profound magical ability to undermine the way of life she was raised to defend. Consumed by passion and vengeance, Sydney struggles to keep her secret life under wraps as the threat of exposure—and re-education—looms larger than ever.

My last anticipated book is Daylighters by Rachel Caine. This is the 15th and final book in her Morganville Vampires series and I'm betting on it being epic. I have been a fan of this series for a few years now and I am really going to miss Claire and Co. No doubt RC will give our beloved characters they deserve!

Goodreads:

While Morganville, Texas, is often a troubled town, Claire Danvers and her friends are looking forward to coming home. But the Morganville they return to isn’t the one they know; it’s become a different place—a deadly one…

Something drastic has happened in Morganville while Claire and her friends were away. The town looks cleaner and happier than they’ve ever seen it before, but when their incoming group is arrested and separated—vampires from humans—they realize that the changes definitely aren’t for the better.

It seems that an organization called the Daylight Foundation has offered the population of Morganville something they’ve never had: hope of a vampire-free future. And while it sounds like salvation—even for the vampires themselves—the truth is far more sinister and deadly.

Now, Claire, Shane and Eve need to find a way to break their friends out of Daylighter custody, before the vampires of Morganville meet their untimely end…

I'm getting all saddy now *insert sad face emoticon here* R.I.P Morganville.

There is an upcoming Morganville web series being made so they aren't really gone gone!

There are more books I'm looking forward to (I may need to devote an entire post to Strange Chemistry!) but I need my sleeps. Its hard being a lazy bitch and a mother!
